recover deleted data

Consider a situation where your entire permissions folder for an upcoming event are lost, which included all kinds of permissions such as venue, food, late-slips, sponsorships deals etc. How will you handle this situation? List down the measures that can be taken to prevent this in the future.

When the given situation arises in front of me firstly I will checkout if there is any backup which is possible in 99% of the conditions but if the rest 1% possibility arises in front of me, I will make sure that the computer or the system from which the file is deleted is not being disturbed by anyone trying to help us. The system is made totally on the coding hence if the system is disturbed there are chances that the memory where our file was there some other thing is being written. After making everyone stop getting panic and making believe that there is nothing that an engineer cannot do I will buy software like usease which retrieve the deleted data and most probably the data will recover and in a possibility that it does not recover , I will suggest a trusted person to take the system to a data specialist and in case that also fails the last possibility is to take the permission again from the authority because everything will be saved in their database and hence take up the event. The final 0.001% possibility that the data is even lost by the authorities or they are rejecting to give the data, I would take up the responsibility and with the help of such a great team, we will manage all the loss of money which happened due to this incident and will take care that this does not repeat in the future. Of course, great things are been learnt by failure and different experience.

The steps which I would suggest preventing such issues in future is using technology which is been developed in an efficient manner like google drives, windows backup, pcloud , hard drives etc. even I would see that the responsibility is not given to an individual but is given to a team of two or three trustworthy students where everyone personally carries information in case such situation arises again thereby overcoming such situations.
